1852 Year of Maestrani's foundation
Aquilino Maestrani (1814-1880) founds his chocolate factory in Lucerne.
1875 Move to St. Gallen
1936 Minor appears on the Swiss market
Minor chocolate bar with extra hazelnuts is launched.
1997 Takeover of Munz
Maestrani buys the Munz chocolate factory in Flawil and relocates the company headquarters from St. Gallen to Flawil.
2022 Anniversary
Maestrani celebrates its 170th anniversary.

Maestrani is a modern chocolate manufacturer producing over 300 different products and welcoming more than 200,000 visitors a year to the Chocolarium, our World of Discovery.
